BEGINNING

My active career began even before I graduated, during my studies in Stuttgart in the late 1980s and early 1990s. And my first commission in 1990 was a complete refurbishment and extension of a typical post-war building.

In addition to creating the design and planning application, I went through all the phases and even calculated the reinforcement for the new concrete slabs, a completely new structural element. And with my previous experience as a construction worker, I've taken on all the major jobs, from demolition to bricklaying, formwork, drywall, roofing and more. Although small, it was possibly the most comprehensive experience I've had in architecture.

Since I praticed previously with a meticulous and detail-loving architect, I also paid great attention to every detail, every screw. The staircase, windows and doors have all been custom made based on highly detailed 1:1 - 1:5 scale hand drawings. It was possibly the most complete and rewarding experience of my career.
